FIELD: rolled stock production, namely processes for accelerated cooling of moving rolled piece of non-limited length with use of cooling liquid under excess pressure. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two cooling chambers with direct current and counter-current slit type sprayers with cone like nozzles having round constant cross section openings for passing rolled piece. According to invention cone like nozzles have turnings for placing changeable inserts with openings depending upon diameter of rolled piece. Difference between cross section area of round openings of changeable inserts of cone like nozzles and cross section area of rolled piece passing though them is constant value and it is less than cross section area of sprayer slits by 1.5 - 2 times. ^ EFFECT: possibility for regulating cooling liquid pressure depending upon cross section of moving rolled piece, lowered consumption of cooling water. ^ 3 cl, 5 dwg |
