PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damage due to the fraudulent act of inserting foreign matter into a medal inlet. SOLUTION: A main board 31 and a power supply box 33 are provided in a housing 13. A release switch 38 is provided in the power supply box 33. A CPU 31a, a medal counter 51, a credit storage section 52, a credit prohibition section 53 and a timer 54 are provided in the main board 31. The timer 54 starts to measure time in response to the operation of an account settlement button 20. The credit prohibition section 53 judges whether measured time exceeds 300 seconds in response to the operation of the settlement button 20. When judging that measured time does not exceed 300 seconds, the credit prohibition section understands that there is a possibility of a fraudulent act committed and makes the CPU 31a prohibit the medal counter 51 from counting and the medal 30 from getting credited to the credit storage section 52.
