PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile the prevention of deterioration of a battery charger with the security of its operation time. SOLUTION: This charging apparatus includes a charge controller 21 which determines charge voltage, according to whether or not the rate that battery voltage higher than specified threshold voltage is included in the battery voltage at start of charging for a specified number of times of charge is higher than the specified threshold rate, and it charges a battery 43 with the charge voltage determined as above, at charge of constant voltage.
