PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storable seat whose thickness at the time of being folded up is lessened without causing a coupling member for folding up the seat to hop out from a seat design. SOLUTION: The storable seat 10 for a vehicle is structured so that its seat back 20 is put down to the seat cushion 30 round a recliner 21 as the rotational center, and by this storing operation the seat cushion 30 and the seat back 20 are stored in the overlapped condition with the aid of a coupling means. The coupling means consists in a link mechanism 50 having a driving member joint 51 and a follower member joint 52. The driving member joint 51 has a first node 51a coupled by a pin to a coupling part 20a arranged apart outward in the radial direction of the recliner 21, while the follower member joint 52 has a second node 52a coupled by pin to a coupling part 30a arranged in the seat cushion 30 and a third node 52b coupled by pin with the body floor F, wherein the joints 51 and 52 have fourth nodes 52c coupled together by pin.
