PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a superconducting element having superior superconductivity, when a volume fraction of a superconducting filament is high, especially high critical temperature Tc and upper critical magnetic field strength Bc2, and mechanical stability that is with respect to industrial use of a magnetic coil etc. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method, at least a part of a cold working step or a hot working step and an annealing step are performed, by cold working preceded by an intermediate annealing treatment performed at temperatures of 520-750°C, which is higher than the recrystallizing temperature of a standard Cu-Sn alloy and a quenching process cooling to 100°C or lower, within less than 30 seconds.
