摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte lithium ion secondary battery with excellent durability hardly generating deterioration of capacity or increase of internal resistance even if charge/discharge is repeated under high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte lithium ion secondary battery 1 is composed of a cathode 2 including cathode activator 25, an anode 3 including anode activator 35, and a nonaqueous electrolyte prepared by dissolving electrolyte 51 in organic solvent. The cathode activator is composed of a nickel-lithium complex oxide expressed by compositional formula; LiNi<SB>a</SB>Me<SB>(1-a)</SB>O<SB>2</SB>(wherein, Me is one or more kinds of element chosen from Mg, Co, Mn, and Al, and 0.4<a<0.95).
