PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay carrying device of an image forming device superior in jam processing operability, and capable of restraining an increase in manufacturing cost, while securing an optimal jam processing space in response to a form of the image forming device, by arranging a simple opening-closing type selecting means in the relay carrying device. SOLUTION: This relay carrying device of the image forming device has a delivery means for delivering a sheet from a paper delivery part of a device body and a relay carrying device for carrying the sheet delivered from the delivery means to a sheet postprocessing system, and is characterized in that this relay carrying device is provided with an opening-closing cover for jam processing, and the opening-closing cover has the opening-closing type selecting means.
