A socket part (1), which is actuated without the use of pressure, of a fluid coupling is provided with means that mechanically seal the insertion space of a plug (70) whereby preventing, to a large extent, foreign matter from entering. In addition, a throttle device (45, 47, 49) is provided that, when the plug (70) is inserted, virtually does not obstruct the fluid connection, whereas when the plug is removed, a higher flow resistance develops without, however, completely blocking the flow path. The associated plug likewise comprises a closure device in order to prevent particles from entering the flow channel when the plug is pulled out. In the event the plug is attached to a compressed-air bottle, the plug is provided with a throttle device that, when the plug is inserted, virtually does not obstruct the fluid connection, but forms a considerable flow resistance when the plug is pulled out without completely blocking the flow connection. |
