PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically recognize the installed place of equipment existing inside a building or the like without a manpower aid on the basis of information of the installed place of a socket because the installed place of the equipment is considered as information specifying the equipment at the time of assuming that the equipment is to be remotely controlled through a network. SOLUTION: The socket 200 detects the activation of the equipment 100 connected to the socket 200 by detecting electric change caused by the activation of the equipment 100 and notifies an equipment management server 300 of the installed place of the socket. On the other hands, when the equipment 100 is activated, the activation is confirmed by the equipment management server 300 with a protocol system provided in the equipment. In the equipment management server 300, the installed place of the equipment is acquired by a notice from the socket 200, information necessary for operating the equipment 100 is acquired by the notice of the activation from the equipment, and integral management is made.
