PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electrical connection with a flexible board from becoming unstable, prevent disconnection of the flexible board, and make the flexible board resistant to damage. SOLUTION: A plurality of contacts 11 are mounted to a housing 3 made of a resin. The housing 3 supports an open/close cover 14 capable of opening and closing an aperture 13a of an inside space 13b into which a flexible printed circuit board FPC 2 is inserted, and has visor-shaped protrusions 75a, 75b that continuously protrude from a sidewall to face toward an end portion of the FPC 2 inserted. In an insertion hole 13c, when the FPC 2 is inserted, the distance between the FPC 2 and the visor-shaped protrusions 75a, 75b is shorter than the distance between the FPC 2 and the open/close cover 14.
