In a pipe plug connection having a rubber-elastic sealing ring which is arranged in the sealing gap between a sleeve and a tip end, and having a claw rim, which is plugged externally onto the sleeve collar and engages in a tensionally-securing manner in latching means which are constructed on the plugged-in tip end, despite the high achievable tensile strength and despite an extremely large external diameter of the plugged-on claw rim, which is at most fractions of a millimetre larger than the external diameter of the end ring surface of the sleeve, easy detachability of the plug connection is achieved in that the claw rim is provided with an annular groove which opens radially outwards and engages over the sleeve collar from the inside, resting on the end ring surface of the sleeve, and forming a snap connection. This ring snap connection can be detached by deliberately applying an external, at least essentially radial force onto a limited circumferential section of the hard-elastic claw rim, and is non-detachable if a force is exerted which is distributed uniformly, that is to say if an attempt is made to pull the latched-in tip end axially out of the sleeve.
