PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous pulley capable of restricting polygonal action by engagement with a synchronous pulley. SOLUTION: The synchronous pulley 1 is formed with a groove extended in the circumferential direction in the peripheral part over the whole of the circumference, and a distance from the bottom surface of the groove to the center of the pulley is set smaller than a distance from a pulley bottom land to the center of the pulley, and a ring 3 formed of an elastic body is fitted in the groove.
