PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandrel which can make a shaping process easy and hardly generates wrinkles and inconvenient kinks of fiber in shaping, and is excellent in stability of dimension and a deformation-simplicity property when performing the shaping of non-straight member made from a composite material. SOLUTION: The mandrel for fiber reinforced composite material shaping has at least one deformation part whose surface layer consisting of a low resilient material and one non-deformation part consisting of a high resilient material in the intermediate part of a longitudinal direction, wherein the shape change of the deformation part causes the mandrel shape change by raising temperature more than the specific temperature in the temperature range of 25°C-200°C, and is characterized by maintaining the shape even if the temperature is changed in the temperature range of 5°C-200°C after the shape change.
