PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device of peripheral equipment which enables a discharge to be effectively performed even when the peripheral-equipment case is installed with the presence of a spacing between the case and a floor surface while enabling the peripheral equipment to be installed even if there are no metal piping, poles and the likes suitable for the connection for a power receptacle with grounding terminal and wire terminals. SOLUTION: The peripheral equipment 1 and a printer 3 are connected by a connection plate 5 which makes the peripheral equipment 1 located at the desired position toward the printer 3. The connection plate 5 makes the peripheral equipment 1 located at the desired position toward the printer 3 using the foot 10 of the peripheral equipment 1 and the foot 31 of the printer 3, and regulates the position of the foot 10 of the peripheral equipment 1 toward the foot 31 of the printer 3. The peripheral equipment 1 and the connection plate 5 are connected by an earth wire 6 and have an electrical continuity, thereby the static electricity charged in the peripheral equipment 1 is naturally discharged through the connection plate 5.
