<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficient printing by outputting a job to a device which firstly finishes the present processing of a job. <P>SOLUTION: It is assumed that image forming apparatuses A, B, C are in the midst of output processing of the other job, respectively. When the image forming apparatus issues a designation of "copy to a device which firstly becomes vacant", the request is transmitted to each of the image forming apparatuses, and then reservation of reservation copy is made. That is, upon the receiving of the request of forming an image, the reservation for outputting the job after completion of the present processing is made in the image forming apparatus A (local), the image forming apparatus B (remote) and the image forming apparatus C (remote). When the image forming apparatus A becomes vacant, the reservation job from the image forming apparatus A of which the reservation is the first, is output from the image forming apparatus A.
