PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for improving sound quality while reducing noise of a slider by reducing noise in a band of 1,500Hz or more included in a noise incident to the travel of a slider in a liner guide device. SOLUTION: In a linear guide device which contains a rail equipped with a rail track groove, a slider track groove opposed to the rail track groove, a saddle-shaped slider for linearly moving on the rail and a rolling element for rolling on a load path formed by the rail track groove and the slider track groove, the axial surface roughness of a rolling surface on which rolling elements of the slider track groove and/or the rail track groove is rolled is set at less than 0.025μm in the arithmetic average roughness Ra.
