PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear pump improving sealability without increase in cost. SOLUTION: In a first means for solving the problem, a side plate is divided into a driving-shaft-side side plate journaled to the driving shaft and a driven-shaft-side side plate journaled to the driven shaft, each having a seal face. In a second means for solving the problem, a seal block is divided into a first seal block and a second seal block respectively brought into contact with each seal face.
