TERMINAL EQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO IC CARD READER-WRITER, ACCESS METHOD OF IC CARD, AND IC CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing fraudulent access and fraudulent utilization by protecting key information used for access to the access limit area of an IC card held in terminal equipment, in the terminal equipment which accesses the IC card.

SOLUTION: The key information 106 used in accessing the IC card 110 in the terminal equipment 10 is held in the access limit area 105 of a memory 100 and access to the key information 106 is limited only to a program 104 for access. The program 104 for access is divided and held in the terminal equipment 10 and in the IC card 110 and connected to the inside of the terminal equipment 10 by a program 103 for connection in the terminal equipment 10 at the time of the access of the IC card 110, the key information 106 in the terminal equipment 10 is acquired, and the terminal equipment 10 accesses the IC card 110. The program 104 for the access is erased from the inside of the terminal equipment 10 after the key information 106 is acquired.
