PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing sheet having excellent running stability on a printing machine, base material strength, reproducibility of halftone dots, print contrast ratio, water resistance, etc., and suitable for the use to be printed by sheet-feed offset printing such as outdoor poster and various commercial printing uses e.g. map, catalog, pamphlet and menu and provide a label produced by using the sheet. SOLUTION: The printing sheet is a porous drawn film produced by forming a composition containing (a) 40-90 wt.% aliphatic polyester resin and (b) 60-10 wt.% inorganic fine powder into the form of a film and drawing the film in one direction at a temperature lower by 1-100°C than the melting point of the polyester resin at a draw ratio of 1.2-8. The drawn film has Gurley stiffness of 50-3,000 mg, porosity of 5-60%, a surface area S is 5,000-50,000μm<SP>2</SP>per 4,292μm<SP>2</SP>of the project area of the film surface and the protrusion volume V of 2,000-20,000μm<SP>3</SP>per 4,292μm<SP>2</SP>of the project area.
