PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone in which an on-hook operation and an off-hook operation can be performed and a talk can be made while closing a lid case. SOLUTION: In the mobile phone relating to the present invention, a lid case 2 is linked to a body case 1 so as to be opened/closed, a ten key 13 to be covered with the lid case 2 is provided on an inner surface of the body case 1, and an image display screen is provided on the lid case 2. A transmitter unit 6 that is available while closing the lid case 2, is arranged on one end of the body case 1, and a receiver unit 7 is arranged on one end of the lid case 2 on the other hand. The on-hook operation and the off-hook operation can be then performed by a key that is exposed in the state of closing the lid case 2, and a talk using the transmitter unit 6 and the receiver unit 7 can be made in the state of closing the lid case 2.
