PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular display device capable of making fresh the appearance of a virtual image of a background display while suppressing cost rise, by devising a structure of a second display board. SOLUTION: A background board 12 is formed in a platy shape from transparent material, and a recessed portion 12c reflecting light from a half mirror 10 to the half mirror 10 is provided in a square pyramidal shape on a surface 12b opposite to the half mirror 10. The recessed portion 12c visually recognized as a virtual image has a three-dimensional appearance wherein four ridgelines of the square pyramidal shape is brightly recognized, namely looks as if a star in a night sky shines. Color printing to a second display board in a conventional vehicular display device is not required.
