<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiviral protein (collectively called cyanovirin), a conjugate thereof, a DNA sequence encoding such the medicament, a host cell containing such the DNA sequence, an antibody to such the medicament, a composition containing such the medicament and a method for obtaining and using such the medicament. <P>SOLUTION: The isolated virus protein derived from Nostoc ellipsosporum, especially the antiviral protein known as cyanovirin-N, and viral infection inhibitor comprising a conjugate of pseudomonas exotoxin with a viral envelope protein are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
