PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chrominance signal processing method with which the number of pieces of data is reduced and accurate display can be performed by a simple method. SOLUTION: The chrominance signal processing method includes: a step S2 of computing assumption output chrominance signals R1, G1, B1 for chromaticity [X, Y, Z] desired to output if gradation display characteristics of R, G, B, C, M, Y, Gr of an image display device 17 are known; a step S3 of dividing the computed chrominance signals R1, G1, B1 into R, G, B, C, M, Y, Gr and dividing them into three groups (I group: R-G-B, II group: C-M-Y, III group: Gr), a step S4 of calculating a crosstalk value for each of the divided groups; a step S6 for computing signals R2, G2, B2 required for outputting the crosstalk value; and a step S7 of calculating signals R, G, B to be actually output.
