PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw mechanism suppressed in abnormal noise and malfunction in spite of being inexpensive and easy to be manufactured. SOLUTION: By caulking a sleeve 5 as a cylindrical member, a deflector 4 has a head 4a held between a step 2c of an oblong hole 2b and the inner peripheral face of the sleeve 5. Thus, its come-off is stably prevented for a long period. The cylindrical sleeve 5 encircles a nut 2 throughout its periphery, so that the nut 2 is free of fall-off by a centrifugal force when rotated at a high speed. The sleeve 5 is caulked with its part entering into the oblong hole 2b, so that its come-off is prevented when the sleeve 5 is applied with a force in the axial direction of the nut 2.
