<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet ink capable of obtaining a printed material improved in scratch resistance and image smoothness of the formed characters and images, and excellent in ejection stability on printing, and a recording method by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet ink containing at least a pigment, water and polymer fine particles is characterized in that an ink viscosity ratio (η<SB>2</SB>/η<SB>1</SB>) satisfies the condition prescribed by the following formula (1): 0.8<(η<SB>2</SB>/η<SB>1</SB>)<5.0, by taking ink viscosity at 25°C as η<SB>1</SB>and ink viscosity at 25°C on vaporizing water equivalent to the 10 mass% of the total amount of the ink as η<SB>2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
