The apparatus has a gun manifold (102) connected with a dispensing module (104) that includes a dispensing orifice to deliver adhesive. The orifice is located on a nozzle (107) carried by the module, and a pair of interfaces exists where passageways meet. Fluid ports on the manifold and module are aligned to provide leak-proof fluid communication between two subassemblies. An independent claim is also included for a method for attaching a component of a liquid thermoplastic material dispenser to another component of a liquid thermoplastic material dispenser.
