PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper gradation correction to image data even when any jump is generated in the image data.

SOLUTION: This image processor is provided with a scene determination part 710 for determining the scene of an image from image data constituted of a plurality of pixel signals, an acquisition part 740 for acquiring the number of saturation pixels from the image data, a ratio calculation part 750 for calculating the ratio of the number of saturation pixels to the number of pixels of the image data, a gradation correction condition deciding part 730 for deciding gradation correction conditions based on the result of the scene determination and the ratio of the number of saturation pixels and an image processing executing part 760 as a gradation correction part for subjecting gradation correction processing to the image data by using the decided gradation correction conditions.
