PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro fluid device capable of controlling the generation number of bubbles and a size of the bubble, capable of flow-controlling a sample by simple structure, and allowing repeated use. SOLUTION: A photo-absorber 8 exhibiting photo-absorptivity higher than other parts is arranged in a midway of a micro flow passage 5 through which a liquid flows, and light is emitted to the photo-absorber 8 from a light introducing part 19 of a light irradiation means 11 arranged opposedly with the micro flow passage 5 at a distance therefrom. The liquid in the micro flow passage 5 positioned with the photo-absorber 8 is heated to generate the bubbles 10 in the liquid. The size of the bubble is changed by controlling a light emission amount from the light introducing part 19 of the light irradiation means 11, so as to change a flow passage cross-sectional area of the micro flow passage 5.
