PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rank useful documents while taking a user group into account. SOLUTION: A document ranking requirement designating part 14 designates the requirements for displaying a ranking of documents. A document ranking tallying part 15 obtains a history of reference according to the requirements designated and creates a ranking of documents by tallying the scores of each document according to scoring rules weighted from the viewpoint of the user group.
