<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative image recording material forming a high strength image area, preferably to provide a negative image recording material forming a lithographic printing plate having high strength of an image area and excellent in printing durability. <P>SOLUTION: The negative image recording material has on a support a recording layer capable of forming an image upon infrared exposure and containing (A) a polymerizable compound, (B) an infrared absorbent, (C) a compound which generates a radical upon exposure to light of a wavelength which the infrared absorbent (B) can absorb, and (D) an elastomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
