PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium storage box management system capable of surely and safely acquiring the movement history of a game medium storage box by using a simple and inexpensive communication means utilizing an electromagnetic induction action and executing a unique light performance by the game medium storage box. SOLUTION: The game medium storage box management system 1 comprises: the game medium storage box 2 provided with an electromotive force generation means 21 for generating electromotive force by the electromagnetic induction action, an ID (identifier) generation circuit 24 and a rectifier circuit 22 for performing the full wave rectification or half wave rectification of an AC current corresponding to identifier signals; a read unit 3 provided with a magnetic field generation means 32 and an ID (identifier) read circuit 38; and a hall computer 6 for inputting an identifier from the ID (identifier) read circuit 38 and managing the game medium storage box 2.
