PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scraping tool capable of securely removing iron powder stuck on the under face of an insulation material between the rails. SOLUTION: The scraping tool has a container body 1 opened at the upper face housing a magnet 4 in an appropriate position, having a wider lateral width than the width of the intermediating direction of the insulation material (a) interposed between the end faces of the rail R. In the front end side upper face in the orthogonal direction to the lateral width of the container body 1, a brush 2 coming in contact with the under face of the insulation material (a) is protruded.
