PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide purification equipment capable of controlling great variations in generating electric power and preventing the dust caught with a screen from staying in an upstream side of the screen in volume even if water flow rate flowing down by overflowing an upper end overflow section of an overflow weir varies. SOLUTION: A discharging hole 6 passing through a downstream side from an upstream side is formed in the overflow weir 1, the discharging hole 6 is located downward of the upper end overflow section 1a of the overflow weir 1, a generator 8 which is an integral part of a water wheel is provided to the downstream side of the discharging hole 6, an inclined screen 10 is installed in the upstream side of the overflow weir 1, a collection section 11 collecting the dust 9 caught with the screen 10 is formed in the downstream side of the overflow weir, a raker 14 raking the dust 9 collected to the collection section 11 in a dust collection section formed in one shore side of a river 2 is provided, and generating electric power of the generator 8 is supplied to a motor driving the raker 14.
