<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing, restraining the occurrence of abrasion, galling and so on in a sliding contact surface between a guide surface of a cage and a guide surface of a race by favorable lubrication at the initial stage of rotation and securing the flow (supply) of a lubricant to the sliding contact surface to lengthen the life. <P>SOLUTION: The cage 5 includes: a radial groove 5e formed on the side wall 5d of a pocket 5d opposite to the side 4a of a roller 4 to communicate the outer peripheral surface 5a of the cage 5 with the inner peripheral surface 5h thereof; and an axial groove 5g formed in the axial direction on the guide surface 5a of the cage 5. One of the guide surface 5a of the cage 5 and the peripheral surface 2c of the race 2 has an annular grove 5f between the radial groove 5e and the axial groove 5g in the axial direction to communicate the radial groove 5e of the cage 5 with the axial groove 5g thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
