PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which contributes to releasing of muscular fatigues, shoulder stiffness, and lumbar pain associated with sitting or driving for a long period of time and which can prevent disorders or exacerbotion of disorders of cervical vertebrae and lumber vertebrae. SOLUTION: The chair is provided with a sitting section which supports the crural area, a chest and back supporting section which supports the chest and the back areas and can be declined, a lumber vertebrae supporting section which supports the lumber vertebrae area, a pelvis supporting section which supports the pelvis area, a buttock/thigh base area supporting section which supports the groin side of the thighs and which can be shortened in the longitudinal direction along with the decline of the chest and back supporting section, and a cervical vertebrae supporting section which supports the cervical vertebrae area of a person sitting. The bottom end of the chest and back supporting section and the top end of the pelvis supporting section are connected to each other in a rotatable manner and the position of a center of the rotation lowers as the chest and back supporting section declines. The lumber vertebrae supporting section is expandable and contractable in the longitudinal direction. The bottom end of the cervical vertebrae supporting section and the top end of the chest and back supporting section are connected to each other in a rotatable manner and the cervical vertebrae supporting section is expandable and contractable in the longitudinal direction.
