<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system capable of monitoring and controlling a base station device without mounting software exclusive for a special monitoring terminal to a monitoring terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring function section 33 receives a signal sent from the monitoring terminal 1 via a base station control unit 2 via a transmission line I/F function section 31 and a transmission line signal switching function section 32, and terminates the signal for performing TCP/IP connection with the monitoring terminal 1. The monitoring function section 33 receives monitoring information from the transmission line I/F function section 31 in the base station device 3, the transmission line signal switching function section 32, and another function section 34 for providing a WWW server function 331 with the monitoring information. The WWW server function 331 analyzes control data received from a WEB browser 11 on the monitoring terminal 1, and controls each function section according to the contents.
