摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device manufacturing apparatus with which a manufacturing cost can be reduced, the positions of a plurality of light modulators can be adequately adjusted, and various optical devices whose rays of color light have different optical paths can be easily manufactured. SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus is provided with: a hold section for holding a color synthesis optical device; a light source device 5 for adjustment; a position adjustment device for holding any one of the light modulators and making a positional adjustment; and a turning section for turning the position adjustment device so that the end face of the color synthesis optical device on each of the luminous flux incident sides faces the held light modulator. The light source device 5 for adjustment includes: a light source device main body 51 for emitting rays of color light from corresponding emitting positions R1, G1, and B1; an optical fiber 52 constituted such that its base end section is located in one of the emitting positions of the light source device main body 51, its distal end section is connected to the position adjustment device so that the rays of color light led in from the proximal end section is emitted to the light modulator held by the position adjustment device; and a moving mechanism 53 for moving the proximal end section of the optical fiber 52 to each emitting position.
