METHOD FOR ASSESSING EFFICACY OF NONADJUVANT CHEMO- AND RADIOTHERAPY OF BREAST CANCER

The method for assessing the efficacy of nonadjuvant chemo- and radiotherapy of breast cancer provides for X-ray examination. The mammography with computed tomography is performed prior to and after the treatment. The sizes of tumor are compared. In the case of the edematic-infiltrative breast cancer, the supraclavicular and subclavicular lymph nodes, the infiltration of the glandular tissue, and thickening of the skin are evident.
