PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ease of use by improving a mounting structure of a bar code scanner, in a microwave oven with the bar code scanner. SOLUTION: This microwave oven with a bar code scanner is provided with: a control panel; a scanner guide formed in the control panel; a scanner installed so as to be inserted into and extracted from the scanner guide; and a driving part for pulling the scanner inside the scanner guide and pressing it from the scanner guide.
