PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently removing oils adhering or permeating to a porous material such as concrete and the like without necessitating a large-scaled construction. SOLUTION: The method for removing oils comprises a step of laying an adsorption member on the surface of the porous material such as concrete and the like to which the oils are adhered or permeated, a step of injecting a solvent or water to the whole area of the adsorption member laid on the surface of the porous material, a step of allowing the adsorption member to which the solvent and the like are injected to stand for a predetermined time in a state of which the adsorption member is covered with the adsorption member and adsorbing the oils which exudes on the surface of the porous material through the dissolution of the solvent and the like, a step of releasing the covered state of the adsorption member by a sheet member and removing the adsorption member to which the oils have been adsorbed from the surface of the porous material and a step of wiping the surface of the porous material from which the adsorption member has been removed using a rag and the like and drying the same and confirming the existence of the exudation of the oils into the surface of the porous material.
