PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of attaining energy saving in combination with an inverter even if the type of a mounting part is different. SOLUTION: The luminaire comprises an illuminating part 2 and the mounting part 3 connected to the illuminating part. The illuminating part has an illuminating lamp 4 and includes the inverter 5. The illuminating lamp 4 is connected to a socket 9 mounted to a holding frame 10, and the holding frame is connected to the inverter at the back part. A space is ensured between the inverter and the illuminating lamp 4. The mounting part 3 is provided with a mounting frame 16, a pipe-like mounting body and a seat part.
