PURPOSE: To provide the copying and printing machine by which positions of punch holes are displayed on a pattern. CONSTITUTION: The copying and printing machine in which display means 5-9 displaying a display electric signal on moving paper 2 on a mobile path 4 guiding and moving the paper 2 is provided with a paper information detection means detecting the size of the paper 2 and the arrangement on a moving path, and a pattern signal generating means 12 generating a pattern electric signal to display a prescribed pattern at a circumferential part and at a prescribed position on the moving path based on an output signal of the paper information detection means, and a composite signal comprising the display electric signal and the pattern electric signal is fed to the display means 5-9. Since punch hole positions and ruled line frames are displayed at a prescribed position of paper of a print document or a copy document, even when punch holes are made to documents printed out by a few sets on each occasion, the punch hole position is accurate, even when lots of files are stored, no unevenness is formed to a side face of stacked documents but the documents are made flat, the retrieval of documents by hand turn-over is made easy and the possibility of lookover of the document is precluded. |
