The manometer (1) has a shoulder joined to a plate, where the shoulder and the plate are arranged in a front side (5) of the manometer to receive a retaining ring (2), when the manometer is subjected to pressure. A borrow pit (6) arranged on the side (5) allows to project a circle portion inside the ring. The pit is formed by joining another ring and another circle portion delimited by a tangent chord at ends of the ring (2). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a gas distributing device including a manometer (B) utilization of a manometer.
