PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which improves security of communication history information stored for each communication. SOLUTION: A network facsimile terminal FX transmits at least an image to a specified destination and performs transmission processing. Then it stores transmission history information such as date and time of transmission of the transmission processing and destination information to a parameter memory 3 for each transmission, and outputs the transmission history information in the parameter memory 3 at a predetermined time in a visible state. It performs erasing processing for erasing the transmission history information which at least all or optional part of the destination information has been transmitted among the transmission history information for each transmission stored in the parameter memory 3. Therefore, while maintaining the fact that the once stored transmission history information has been transmitted, at least the destination can be erased and security can be improved.
