摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a positive electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery with high purity, being manufactured in a high yield and inexpensively, with high capacity and high output and having excellent physical properties. <P>SOLUTION: Ammonium iron phosphate (NH<SB>4</SB>FePO<SB>4</SB>) which is non-toxic, divalent, stable and a raw material for both of iron and phosphoric acid and a raw material for lithium such as lithium hydroxide (LiOH), lithium carbonate (Li<SB>2</SB>CO<SB>3</SB>) or the like are reacted and then lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO<SB>4</SB>) for the positive electrode material is manufactured.
