PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire securing traction performance on an ice and snow road surface and securing lateral skid-resistance performance. SOLUTION: A large number of blocks are formed on a tread surface 1. A loop-like closed sipe 6 and branched sipe 6 extending in a tire width direction from both sides, respectively, and arriving at a vertical groove 2 is formed the an inner side of the block 4.
