The disclosed herein composite guide applicable to sliding sashes is composed of the extruded aluminium section 1 provided with an incorporated screw reception 2, a stainless steel section 3, and a supporting extruded aluminium section 5. The stainless steel section 3 is adjointly adapted on the upper side of the extruded aluminium section by means of a special machine. The composite section 4 resulted from the assembly of the extruded aluminium section 1 with the steel section 3 is placed intothe specially-configurated reception of the supporting section and held thereon via mechanical connection or by use of welding substances. The shape of the guide allows its holding by the lateral guides via mechanical connection or welding substances further increasing the rigidity of the guide. The advantages of the present invented guide are: capability of supporting great loads with no bending effects, easy sliding of the sliding rollers due to the low friction coefficient of the steel section, smooth sliding with no squeaks of the sliding leaves due to the assembly resulted from the overlapping of the ends of the stainless section with the extruded aluminium section, and possibility using sliding rollers habitually applied to traditional aluminium guides. |
