The method of the determining of a dispersal time point (t1) of especially motor vehicle windscreen condensation entails determining a momentary water quantity (Q) on the windscreen, in which the time change of the water quantity (d/dt Q) on the windscreen is determined as a function of a windscreen temperature (Ts) and a dew point temperature (T), and integrated from a start point (to) of a condensation formation, whereby the dispersal time point is established through the achieving of an imperceptible momentary water quantity (Q=0).
