摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an improvement effect of an S/N ratio by integrating a brightness signal output from a photodetector, and to enhance detection efficiency of fluorescence emitted from a specimen. SOLUTION: A plurality of integrators is provided to input the brightness signal from the photodetector 11 to be integrated, and an adder 124 is provided to add outputs from the plurality of integrators A122, B123, in an integration circuit 12 for integrating the brightness signal from the photodetector 11 a picture element unit by a picture element unit, according to a clock signal PIXCLK. A time corresponding to every period provided by partitioning one cycle of a clock into a plurality of periods is integration-operated as an integration period of the integrators A122, B123, the brightness signal is integrated in the each period while switching sequentially the integrators A122, B123, the integrators A122, B123 are reset sequentially in the next period of the integration period, and the outouts from all the integrators in the one clock cycle are added by the adder 124.
