<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the entire braking unit by simplifying the structure of the braking unit and miniaturizing an electromagnet part. <P>SOLUTION: A braking device for a hoist comprises a disk to be braked which is mounted on a winding drum for the hoist, brake shoes arranged facing each other via the disk, an electromagnet part which comprises an electromagnetic coil, a stator and a rotor and is arranged on a counter-winding drum side of the disk to be braked, and a braking elastic body which is stretched between the stator and the rotor, and brakes the winding drum for the hoist by press-holding the disk to be braked by the brake shoes when the electromagnetic coil is demagnetized, and is compressed by the operation of the rotor when the electromagnetic coil is excited to release the braking of the winding drum for the hoist. In this situation, the brake shoe on the counter winding drum side is supported by an inner end of an adjustment rod 13 via a wedge-shaped joint 18 consisting of a recessed receiving part 18 and a projecting wedge part 18b of V-shaped section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
